The Province of Córdoba approved amendments to the provincial law Nº 9113 and established the adherence to the National Tobacco Control Law Nº26.687. The Smoke-Free Alliance Argentina (ALIAR) celebrates this measure since it helps to advance the implementation of a norm that guarantees better health conditions for people. Córdoba thus becomes the fifth province to take a concrete step to ensure the enforcement of the national law, along with Chubut, Río Negro, Mendoza and Formosa.
